Sikeston personnel complete railway emergency training

SIKESTON -- There was a lot of activity at the Sikeston Power Plant on Wednesday and Thursday, as emergency management personnel learned more about railroad emergency response.

"Approximately 60 personnel, including DPS, South Scott CountyAmbulance and adjoining fire departments took part in the training," said Capt. Dan Armour of the Sikeston Department of Public Safety.
