SIKESTON -- Not smoking cigarettes during pregnancy seems like a no-brainer to most people, but even so, many women continue to light up when expecting a child.

The "Why do babies die?" smoking and perinatal health conference will be presented from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 15 at the Miner Convention Center in Miner.
