BERNIE -- Glenn Allen Hancock, 56, formerly of East Prairie, died at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 22, 2011, at his home.

Born Oct. 14, 1955, in Mississippi County, to the late Calvin Leroy Hancock and Mary Leda Wheatley Hancock Easley, he lived most of his life in East Prairie where he worked for Cornwell Service Station for 14 years until recently moving to Bernie.

He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Connie Easley of Charleston and Terry and Paula Hancock of Oran; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Larry Wasson of Bernie, Toni and Randy Elfrink of Chaffee and Tammy Burks of Oran.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Calvin Leon Hancock; and two sisters, Barbara Ann Miller and Debra Rose Hancock.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. Monday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday. His uncle, Raymond Linley, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Pritchett, Billy Miller, Chris Miller, Michael Burks, Terry Don Wheatley and Cody Easley.
