Darrell Husk

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Darrell Husk, 56, died at 10:56 p.m. Dec. 9, 2011, at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Jan. 23, 1955, in Wyatt, to the late Donald Richard and Martha Sue Childers Husk, he lived in Cape Girardeau for the past 15 years and was a maintenance worker before becoming disabled.

He is survived by: one son, Adam Husk of East Prairie; one daughter, Corinna Husk of Sikeston; one stepson, Derek Housman of Bertrand; three sisters, Vickie L. Halter and Wendy D. Fitzpatrick of Cape Girardeau and Marla J. Hyde of Sikeston; and five grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.

One granddaughter, Hope Husk, preceded him in death.

Visitation is scheduled from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. No services are planned.
