CHARLESTON -- Robert Morgan, 80, of rural Charleston, died June 1, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born June 17, 1931, at Datto, Ark., to the late Clarence Everett and Pearl Elizabeth Fears Morgan, he was member of the Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston and a retired farmer who lived most of his life in rural Charleston.

On May 27, 1955, he married Donna Reeves, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are: one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Neal and Cheryl Morgan of rural Charleston; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Charlie Butler of Diehlstadt and Beverly and Mike Stash of Sikeston; one brother, Floyd Morgan of Gorham, Ill.; three sisters, Mary Bonifield, Vena Daughhetee and Dorothy McDowell of Charleston; and five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Morgan, Murlyn Morgan and Warren Morgan, and two sisters, Lela Guthrey and Nellie Gage.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. John Neely, pastor of the Tanner Street Church of God, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be: Matthew Butler, Justin Butler, Bobby Morgan, Michael Stash, Danny Babb and Brent Peters.
