Charles Williams Sr.

EAST PRAIRIE - Charles Edward Williams Sr., 75, died Oct. 8, 2012, at his residence in East Prairie.

Born Feb. 3, 1937, in Sikeston, to the late Alvan Curtis and Annie Pearl Sullivan Williams, he was employed as a cemetery sexton for many years.

He was first married to Sally Walden Williams and later to Dorothy Williams, both of whom preceded him in death.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Rocky A. and Michelle Williams of Dover, Tenn., and Charles E. and Julie Williams Jr. of East Prairie; one brother, Wendell Williams of Charleston; three sisters, Geraldine Niederstadt of Pueblo, Colo., and Charlotte Williams and Louise Shemp of Olympia, Wash.; and 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11a.m. to 1p.m. Friday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be at 2 p.m.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
