Internet increases adoption awareness

SIKESTON -- This year's theme for National Adoption Month is "Virtually: Adoption in the Digital Age."

Brenda Miller, adoption specialist for the 33rd Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Children's Division in Sikeston, said the Internet increases the awareness of adoption and creates more avenues for people to pursue when considering adoptions -- not only locally but nationwide.
