SIKESTON -- The seventh annual SEMO Conference Tournament recently released it's seeds for the tournament scheduled for Dec. 3.

The Charleston Bluejays, last year's tournament champions, are this year's top seed.

The Bluejays, who are coming off of a Class 3 championship from last season, topped the Sikeston Bulldogs in last year's conference title game 75-71.

Charleston has won three SEMO Conference tournament championships since it's replacement of the Sikeston Invitational in 2006.

Sikeston, who won three-straight conference titles before last season, was seeded second. The Bulldogs were 23-5 last season losing in the Class 4 quarterfinals.

Cape Central, Jackson and Notre Dame round out the top five.

New Madrid County Central was picked sixth, Poplar Bluff is seventh and Dexter rounds out the field as the eighth seed.
