BLOOMFIELD -- Rosa Lee Watkins, 88, died Nov. 22, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield.

Born Nov. 26, 1923, in Coriscana, Texas, to the late Henry and Lilah Estelle Easley Creasy, she was a homemaker and a member of the Duck Creek Baptist Church.

On Dec. 13, 1941, at Portageville, she married V.M. "Monk" Watkins, and he preceded her in death.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Baby Watkins; three brothers, John Henry Creasy, James Creasy and Leonard Creasy; and one sister, Inez Lumley.

Survivors include: one son, Van M. Watkins Jr. of Puxico; three daughters, Carolyn J. Nies of Arnold, Estell Norris of O'Fallon and Mary Ferie of Florissant; one brother, Bobby Gene Creasy of Centerville, Tenn.; two sisters, Juanita Bewley of Pottsville, Ark., and Betty Mangum of Dexter; and eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. David Edwards officiating.

Burial will follow in the Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville.
