Juanita Umfleet

DEXTER -- Juanita Umfleet, 90, died Jan. 13, 2013, at her home.

Born July 7, 1922, in Dexter, to the late Richard and Nora Pullum Gibson, she had attended the Second General Baptist Church since 1946, and volunteered at the Gospel Mission in Dexter for over 20 years.

On Dec. 6, 1950, in Dexter, she married Clifford Umfleet, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 1967.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Jules R. Gibson.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ronald Morgan of Dexter; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Josh Carpenter of Dexter officiating.

Burial will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter.
